Construction Labor/ Plumbing Helper

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of the Site Foreman to move/haul material, pull water lines, fire caulking, thread pipe and assist with any other tasks.
• Load and unload construction materials and transport them to designated work areas.
• Provide support to skilled tradespeople (Plumbers and Journeyperson)
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Mechanical aptitude 
  • Strength, stamina, and the use of proper lifting techniques required to handle heavy tools and parts weighing up to 50 lbs. 
  • Ability to visualize a finished product from a document 
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and do some moderately heavy lifting and carrying 
  • Ability to work in high, awkward, and noisy places 
  • Ability to work alone or with others 
  • The ability to contribute to a highly team-oriented environment 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Industry Experience: 1-3 years
  • Education Level: High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
  • Working Hours: 10 hour shift, 8 hour shift
  • Salary: Wage to be determined based on school level and experience
