Responsibility and Activities:
- Assisting with the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of both commercial and residential, plumbing and HVAC systems.
- Attending to service calls on a variety of HVAC equipment
- Performing preventive maintenance and minor repairs for various HVAC systems.
- Troubleshooting and repairing including light plumbing tasks.
- Assisting the service teams and projects with various tasks
Qualifications: HVAC Technician requires a combination of technical and soft skills to perform their duties effectively. Here are some key skills that are beneficial for the position:
- Effective Communication: Clearly explaining HVAC systems to customers and working well with colleagues.
- Technical Skills: Trouble shooting and diagnostics with electrical control knowledge.
- Knowledge of Plumbing and Brazing: Familiarity with plumbing systems and the ability to join metal parts using brazing techniques.
- Preventative Maintenance: Conducting routine checks and maintenance to prevent system failures.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshooting issues with electrical circuits and components.
- Physical Strength and Manual Dexterity: Handling heavy equipment and performing tasks that require fine motor skills.
- Basic Math and Communication Skills: Performing calculations and effectively communicating with team members and clients.
- Flexibility: Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

OR EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
Job Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence
- Technical trade certification
- Experience and proven track record in the HVAC service field
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team

Schedule:
- The candidate MUST be available to be part of the on-call rotation. When on call, they will be required to attend and be available on a 24-7 basis for one week in every three.
