Pro-Western Scholarship 2026
This scholarship aims to recognize dedicated individuals and provide them with additional support as they begin their post-secondary careers. These individuals must be the child of a team member at Pro-Western Mechanical who demonstrates excellence in their academics. Depending on the number of applicants, there will be a chance for one to two recipients to be awarded the scholarship. Each recipient will receive $2000 that must be put towards their post-secondary tuition.
Please note: This is a one-time use scholarship.
Eligibility
- The applicant’s parent must be employed at Pro-Western for a minimum of two years.
- The applicant must be accepted or enrolled in an accredited Canadian post-secondary program.
- Enrolment for the post-secondary program must be a maximum of one year after high school graduation.
Application Requirements
It is recommended to have all of your application requirements ready in advance of your application. All requirements must be submitted in one email. If a requirement is sent after the initial application, it will not be included in our review.
- Most recent high school transcripts.
- Written component submission (please see below for more details).
- Proof of enrolment in a Canadian post-secondary institution (e.g., conditional offer).
- Optional: Applicants who are enrolled in programs that require a work sample or portfolio
to be submitted are encouraged to submit one work example with their application.

Important Dates
Potential applicants will be notified of this opportunity a year in advance.

- Recipient(s) will be announced on August 1st, 2026
Written Component Submission
The written component is separated into three short-answer questions. Any use of AI to answer these questions is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.
Question One: 250 words max.
Please write a brief introduction to yourself. Include which program you are applying to and its duration.
Question Two: 500 words max.
Describe the program and how you will use this education to further your career. Is there anything “special” about the programs (Co-ops, internships, hands-on work, renowned professors) that led you to apply?
Question Three: 500 words max.
Tell us about the career path this program will help you with. Are there any dreams or aspirations that it will help you achieve?
